Does anyone believe that there are Levels of Consciousness?

I really don't think it's as black and white as all that. You could define pride, love, and courage a number of different ways, and you would probably get a different definition depending on who you ask. No matter what the conscious is doing there is always plenty of grey area. It might be focused on one definite aspect of something, but there's always something else that's working simultaneously against that will lead to the next inclination at a later time.
