Was the BART shooting of Oscar Grant a good example of how...?

This is a perfect example of the abuse of power that happens more often in the US than the media would lead us to believe. They usually do just sweep these incidents under the rug. The only time these stories are published are when there are too many witnesses to keep quiet. If it weren't for all the cell phone cameras that recorded the murder of Oscar Grant, we probably never would have heard about it, and no action would have been taken against the offending officers.
