OK About Lsu - Ohio State-Georgia Bcs is Crap?

I'm with you on this one. I"m a huge Ohio St and happy we're in it, but I don't understand how LSU can move up so high. Ohio St lost to Illinois when there were ranked #1 and didn't move down that much. Missouri lost to a very good Oklahoma team, and LSU moves up past them? I don't see how, but that's why I said it years ago, and I will say it years from now. Develop some type of playoff system like basketball does. It doesn't have to be a bunch of teams, maybe 8 or 16, and play it on the saturdays in december. Ohio St last played 17 Nov, and don't play until 7 Jan 08,,that's 49 days in between games. They could start and finish a playoff tournament during the downtime. And with football, another big factor is when you lose, not how many you lose. If the #2 through #5 ranked teams all have 2 losses, and #1 rank has zero, if the #1 ranked team loses their last game of the year, does that mean they won't play for the title. With the current process, they wouldn't because they lost their last game, whether it be a conf championship game or not. That's anothre reason why I like the playoff scenario.
